Foster & Easley

Our Story.

In 1989, Cameron Foster and Kenny Easley set out with a goal to create a sports management group that was different than other sports agencies. They wanted to create a sports group that limits the number of clients it represents to offer a select few players the highest level of personal dedication, attention and time commitment necessary to represent professional athletes.

Why limit clients? As the Seattle Seahawks #1 draft choice (4th overall) in 1980, Kenny was a client of a large sports management group. He experienced first-hand the problems that athletes face when being represented by large agencies. When he retired from the NFL in 1989 due to kidney failure, Kenny didn’t hear from his agent for nearly six months thereafter due to his agent not having the time. Kenny had been player representative for the Seattle Seahawks for 6 years and had become well versed with the NFL collective bargaining agreement. In 1989, Kenny was asked by a few of his former teammates with the Seahawks to be their agent. As once the highest paid defensive player int he NFL, Kenny decided to help these players not for financial gain, but for personal reasons and to create a sports management company that would never grow too large and always have the time to assist its players with the many facets that come with being a professional athlete. Wanting an attorney to overlook these contract negotiations, Kenny and Cameron’s paths crossed and shortly thereafter, Foster & Easley Sports Management Group was created.

Originally touted as a “boutique” sports management group, today, Foster & Easley has grown to be one of the most respected sports agencies in professional sports due to their commitment and dedication to each of their clients. Because of the carefully managed company growth, F&E have the ability to offer the highest commitment to each of their athletes they represent. Limiting their total client list has allowed Foster & Easley to negotiate some of the largest and most unique contracts in professional sports. Celebrating 25 years in the profession of sports management, F&E are now positioned and committed more than ever to continue to assist a select few professional athletes with unmatched experience and services including contract negotiations, commercial endorsements, and community involvement. A dominate force in sports management for 25 years, the name "REIGN" was introduced in 2014 to celebrate 25 years of making a difference in our client's lives.

Our Services.

CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS: Without question, the single most important function of a sports agency is to negotiate the best possible contract for each athlete. Foster & Easley have negotiated contracts for clients ranging from first-round draft picks to rookie free agents. Our client's contracts are designed and negotiated to grow financially as the athlete’s talent and experience grows. The business of contract negotiations is not only to maximize a professional athlete's income, but also to protect them from unknown scenarios that must be addressed in professional sports today.

MARKETING & COMMERCIAL ENDORSEMENTS: Endorsements are a fun and profitable avenue that Foster & Easley pursues and secures for our clients. We have created and negotiated numerous licensing agreements with the athlete’s likeness, product endorsement agreements, and public appearances with major corporations including: Disney, EA Sports, Starting Lineup, AT&T, T-Mobile, General Motors, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, ESPN, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Gatorade, Hardees, McDonald’s, automotive dealerships, trading card and collectible companies (Donruss, Fleer, Classic and Topps). In addition to the compensation and visibility of endorsing a product, this process compels an athlete to learn more about the inside working of business and marketing. This acquired knowledge has assisted many of our clients with their business ventures in life after sports.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Foster & Easley encourages our clients to make a positive impact in their home town or team city. For nearly 25 years, we have created numerous state non-profit corporations and federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit corporations across the nation. It is important that our clients realize the tremendous impact they can make off the field. Our clients have raised over $20 million dollars for worthy organizations through their non-profit foundations, events, and other fundraising activities. We work with each individual athlete to determine what is important to them and then with our client’s direction, structure ways in which they might make a difference in our world.

DRAFT PREPARATION & TRAINING: The Draft is an important event in setting up a player’s future as a professional athlete. Foster & Easley have created individual programs that help prepare our rookie clients for the Draft, their university pro days as well as individual workouts for teams. We have secured world class strength and speed trainers, positional coaches, sports psychologist who specializes in interview techniques as well as our current clients to help mentor our players who have already gone through the process. This team works together to help our rookie clients put their best foot forward in these critical pre-Draft events.
